Tropical Challenge Bar — The Story Behind the Soap

Every soap in the Soap Challenge Collection starts with an idea. For the Tropical Challenge Bar, that idea came from stepping outside into my North Queensland garden.
The colours, the movement, the sheer happiness of a Queensland summer — I wanted to capture all of that in a single bar of soap. Bright, bold, tropical. The kind of soap that makes you smile before you've even lathered up.
The Design
This bar was created specifically for a design challenge, which means it pushed me to try techniques and colour combinations I wouldn't normally reach for in everyday production. The swirls and layers were designed to mimic the movement of tropical foliage — layered, lush, and full of life.
Why It's Limited
Because this is a challenge batch, it was made in a single small run. There are no plans to remake it in the same form. Once it's gone, it's gone — and that's exactly the point. Each Soap Challenge Collection release is a one-off creative experiment, not a production line.
